Anyone know a simple way to migrate all my custom brushes, gradients, patterns, styles, actions, filters etc from 7 to ps?

Which do you prefer, drag and drop or copy and paste?

Doc,
You can get ps7 and pscs to run at the same time?
I was wondering if there was a method that didn’t involve saving out all of the custom items. I also want to preseve some elements of the fresh install so I’m not going to copy all my ps prefs. Why the hell dont adobe build this into to the installer? How hard would it be.

As far as I know you should be able to run every version of PS ever made at the same time. Aldus Photostyler too, if you want to push the point. If I’m wrong we’ll hear about it pretty quick in this NG. Regardless, you should be able to copy and save your ‘custom items’ before uninstalling PS7 then drag and drop them into the matching folders in PS8. And no, don’t copy your old preferences over. As far as the installer goes, Activation seems to be the priority. Maybe next time they’ll concentrate more on user convenience.

<zoom, screech!>

You’re wrong. Why? Because some of those won’t run on XP (the really early versions) and PSCS will *only* run on XP. At least, as far as Windows machines are concerned.
