Hi, my screen is only 1024/768, but I was thinking of
programs/utilities/monitor-drivers or something that could help me out getting a virtual large screen? (higher screen resolution). It would probably involve getting only a portion of the real desktop displayed, but with scrollbars?

If I connect my pc to a TV only a portion of the screen is shown (if I don’t set the resolution down to 640/480), but if I move the mousepointer to the area that I currently not see then the pc scrolls over to that area. I was wondering of something like that for my pc screen also? .. So that I could have the screen resolution set to i.e. 3000 x 2000… ??

It would also help me a lot for screen capturing online maps.

Anybody?

I’d be glad:)
