I’m currently using the Standard Creative Suite and am creating web graphics using Photoshop CS. My collegue uses Photoshop & Imageready 7 for the same purpose but we are finding that whenever I save off a file in Photoshop CS, when he opens it in ImageReady 7 the slices dissapear because the file is in an unsupported format.

The only way we have found round it so far is for me to send every document to Imageready CS and save them in that, that way the slices load on his machine normally.

Does anyone know a way round this?? Any patches??

Thanks in advance,

Tom.

Any patches??

Yes, update the other computer to CS. 🙂

Have you tried saving the CS file with maximum compatability turned on (in your prefrences).

Tom,

Dave’s right. However when a site is created in PS7, drag the page you are working in, into PSCS, create a blank page in CS and shift>drag the WHOLE page onto the NEW blank and re-save the whole lot as desired.

It’ll wipe out your original links but it’ll make it compatible with PSCS.

Works a charm. Just did it myself! So Na!
