Hello,

It sounds smart to convert any Rawfile in to a universal fileformat.

Having done that, are there any other applications than Photoshop cs2; (preferable freeware) which can open the pictures….
So my customers can at last see them on their monitor.

I am sure some will be along shortly…not that it makes sense to me. Why would I want someone to see unedited RAW data of my work?

There are still some important products, such as Capture One, and most of the raw converters supplied by camera makers, that don’t support DNG yet. So be careful.

You can, of course, convert to DNG and embed the original raw file into the DNG file. The result is rather large, of course, but it gives the advantages of having a single file that can hold CS2 raw settings, has the archival advantages of a publicly defined format, and still enables the original raw format to be extracted later if necessary.
