PhotoShop CS – can’t save as jpeg

I just loaded PS CS and I am not able to save a .nef or .psd as a .ppg. The option does not appear. I reloaded PS CS and made sure that I had selected .jpg as one of the file types.
Please help…..I am confused.

Oooooooooooops…….just found out that I had to convert to 16 bit to save as jpeg. This is just getting too complicated.
Hope this helps someone else.

Are you sure you didn’t have to convert FROM 16 bit TO 8 bit? 🙂
