I am used to other softwares but now I have to learn PS. I know it is "the one" for many people but I am feeling lost there. There are many things that a know well how to… and am not able to find the equivalence hin PS.
I might have a lot a newbie questions for some time, do you mind? By the way I am Portuguese so, my English can be quite strange or not correct some times.

Here are the first ones:
1- How do you print more than one image in the same paper from PS interface? It only seems to print the active one, is that the way it is? 2- Is there any way to add buttons to the upper bar, like icons to click to use commands? It is a very slow process to remember a lot of new shortcuts or to move around from menu to menu…

Yes. You can put the images into a page layout program and print them that way.

No.

Open new document the size and resolution you require – i.e. A4 240dpi Open the images and drag and drop from the image layers pallette into your document, each will be on its own layer and will be moveable and editable, when you are satisfied with the layout you can print the document.

First, welcome. Second, I think you have the answers to your initial questions. Third, you might want to explore Google.Groups, and do a Search for some of your questions, filtering on this NG, and on alt.graphics.photoshop, as many, many questions have been answered. One big plus is that many of the answers contain URL’s to tutorials, and the like. The only problem with this/ these search(s), is that many folk do not place a usable Subject Line Header into their post, so you may have to read a bit to find what you are looking for. Last, do not hesitate to post any questions here. The subscribers to this NG are a diverse and knowledgable lot. There is little that they have not experienced, and will not hestitate to "explore" your problems. If you have a particular image, that you are stumped on, please post a link to it, so the subscribers can download THAT image and work on it, replying back, how they solved the problem – they are VERY good at that.

Most of all, keep using PS. The more that you do with it, the better you will get. After a short time, it will become second nature for you. Also, remember that there are usually a dozen ways to do something in PS, so don’t be surprised if you get answers that seem to contridicte each other. Chances are that they all will work, just depends on how you want to do it.

Again, welcome,
Hunt
