Hi,
i am wondering if there is a way to replicate the add blending mode (available in some other packages) using combination of layers.

currently i use after effects for the same by importing a layerd psd file and then exporting that out but it too cumbersome.

i know apply image command allows to use add mode but i prefer using layers and tweak them to taste and maintain flexibility in design. dodge + lighten + blurred darken layer set does not seem to give convincing results.
Any help will be useful.
THX.

Try linear dodge (PS 7)
