Levels Problem

I have been running PS7.01 on a new custom built PC,1GB RAM,Intel Pent 4, 3.06GHtz, two 70GB HD and one 200GB HD,Win XP Pro, for the last month with no problems. Tonight while processing some images, about 50, when I go to click on adjustments,and then levels, PS becomes non-responsive and I have to bring up Task Mgr. to close PS. The program was running fine. When I re-boot the application does it again, all other functions of PS will function till I click on levels. Anyone have any ideas on what to do? I have never had this problem with PS5.5, 6 or with 7 before now.

see the faq. first find the topic about dialog box is missing. try that. if it doesn’t work, try the one about resetting your prefrences.

Thanks! I did go and delete my preferences and am back to work! I just wish I could figure out what caused the problem in the first place!
