After operating just fine for a long time on the same machine, P’shop 7.0.1 has begun crashing when I open hue-saturation under "adjust image". All options in that section of the menu, along with the file menu and several others are also inoperable. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled in "safe" mode. When I reinstall, there’s a message tellling me to close other Adobe programs, but there aren’t any running. I’ve removed programs that were recently added. I’ve checked throughly for viruses and worms and come up clean. I’m using Win 2000.

Any suggestions are warmly welcomed.

Robert,

Sounds like your dialogs are off-screen. Did you change monitor or resolution lately?

Hi Rob,

Thanks for your suggestion about the dialogue box. I increased the screen resolution on the secondary monitor and found the box. Problem solved. I thought I had tried the ESC key when the problem was going on… who knows what the mind does when it has to wrestle with software.
