I am printing on a 13X19 paper with an image about 10 X 7. I am printing on an epson 2200 printer. When I print I am getting a light green box that fill all of the paper except for about 1/4 inch around the edge. Has any one had this happen and what can I do to get rid of the green box. I am at my end please help. I am on a pc win 2000.

You mean you get this box instead of your image?

Does Print Preview look OK?

What version of PS are you using?

First , I’d check the Adobe Gamma Calibration of your display. It’s possible that you’re sending a green color cast to the printer because of an incorrectly profiled monitor. Try the tutorial at <http://www.computer-darkroom.com/ps7-colour/ps7_2.htm> . Adobe techdoc at <http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/1403e.htm> .

Beth,
Do you have "absolute color metric" checked in intent or are you using a CMYK profile for source ??

Colin, I get the image printed in the center of the page. The green shadow fills the page around the image. I can see the light green cast in the print preview. I am useing Photoshop 8. Got any ideas

Bingo!-In your "print with preview" dialog you should use either relative color metric or perceptual for intent and the profile for your paper.
