"Type " and Color Picker Problem on MS 2003

I encountered this error on PS7: if you click on the "Type" and "Color Picker" button, it hangs. I’ve tried reinstalling it many time but still won’t work. I’ve tried installing older version(5.5 and 6.0) also but won’t work either. I think, that happens after installing MS Office 2003. Did you encounter the same prob? Please tell me your solution. Thanks!

Have you tried resetting prefs [per FAQ]? This will not have been done when you reinstalled.
