I’ve been told resently that I’d be able to export images prepared in Image Ready to Macromedia Flash MX, is this true?

(I have Photoshop 7.0 rather than CS.)

I think the flash export is new in CS. I don’t remember seeing that in v7.

ruth,

dave’s right. PS7 won’t export or save-as directly to a Flash-native format, but if you’re simply prepping images for use in Flash, save copies in PNG format and bring those into your Flash project.

You can import native PSD files into FlashMX if you have Quicktime 4 or later installed. A list of files that can be imported is listed in the Help files.
