I would like to acquire the Photoshop Camera Raw Plugin for Photoshop 7, but it appears that it is no longer available on Adobe’s website. Is that so? If it is, can I purchase it from another source?

In answer to all of your questions:
1) No, I am not trying to avoid sharing anything. Only trying to avoid doing anything illegally. I wholeheartedly support prevention of software piracy and needed to check on several things on my end first. I have bought thousands of dollars of Adobe products LEGALLY and resent the suggestions by some that I would consider piracy in any shape or form.
2) No secret handshakes, just pay for what you use.
3) I had to check my records as I had no record of my purchase handy at the time I posted my initial reply. I thought that my receipt might have some additional contact information for those interested. My suggestion would be to start here:

<http://www.adobe.com/store/general/customerservice.jhtml>

There are several links here for direct contact with Adobe Store, ordering replacements, etc…This may be a good place to start.

To the Adobe "forum monitor" that sensed the need to delete my previous message, why didn’t you just take the time to answer this question yourself? Check my account with Adobe to see how much I’ve supported Adobe’s products over the years. I pay for my products and expect everyone else to do so too. Try helping loyal customers instead of playing cop.

rr, none of the forum mods here are adobe employees so would have no way to check your account. your post DID sounds suspicious. it sounded like a guy in an alley in a trench coat saying "Psst. Hey buddy, wanna buy a watch?" If you had to check for info and get back, you should’ve just said that (or not posted until you had the info). when you say "hey email me" in response to someone who’s looking for software they don’t have, it SOUNDS like you’re saying, "hey, i’ll give you a copy", regardless of what you actually meant. "Words mean stuff."

and resent the suggestions

<facetious>
resent all you want. that’s the way your post sounded. i resent that you resented the representations of resentment for your alleged incitement of piracy.
</facetious>

the spirit of this board is to not take it off line so that everyone who participates (and lurks) can benifit from any info.

just my 2 cents.

There are lots of forum members who now have CS and have no need for version 1 of ACR. Does not have to be piracy at all. I still use PS7 otherwise I’d love to sell the first version of ACR and get a few bucks back.

(or not posted until you had the info)

LOL… that’s just like those people who make a typo, and then instead of fixing it before they send the email they spend another paragraph describing the typo (that you, the reader, have already seen of course), why it happened and how it will never happen again. Completely nonsensical.

[Message contents removed by Forum Host on suspicion of piracy]

Shouldn’t the entire message have just been removed, rather than leaving the "empty" post and thereby a. wasting bandwidth (which everyone around here feels is so precious), and b. sort of incriminating the poster?
