I was wondering if there is a way to drag a photo over to my second monitor to free up some space. no matter what size I shrink the box that holds the photo it still won’t do it. I can move the tools to the 2nd monitor without any problem.

any ideas please

windows xp home, ps 7, ati 7500 all in wonder primary card, nvidia tnt2 as the second card (pci)

thanks

only way i know of is to spread the ps app across both monitors.

If you do not need to see the image, then you obviously can close the image, but also you can minimize the image so it is available for quick viewing. Unfortunatly, it seems that you can use the second monitor only for palettes now. Hopefully this will be change back in the update that is sorely needed.

No, all you have to do is resize the main Photoshop CS background window across both mnitors (you’ll have to do it manually). Then you can maximize an image out.

Make sure you’ve extended the PhotoShop work area window over to the second monitor. While the tool pallets can be dragged outside the actual PhotoShop window, images cannot.

Just grab the lower-right corner of the PhotoShop widnow and extend it to the right and into the second monitor…then you’ll be able to work with impges on both monitors.
