When I duplicate a layer in photoshop cs (had the same problem with version 6) which has a drop shadow applied and place it in a new file the angle of the drop shadow is not preserved and is set to 120 degrees (all other variables are kept: distance, opacity etc.).

Is there some option I can set in the program so that it preserves this variable.
