Using Photoshop 7.0. When I save any image (recently) in "Save for web" or "Save as" the image becomes darker and more contrasted, as viewed through preview or on the web. I have calibrated through AdobeGamma, set my color profile, yet the problem persists. Any help getting my workspace to look as if it would, saved?

Joe,

Either:

a) Set your RGB working space tp sRGB or
b) Set your proofing colour space to monitor RGB and use View Proof Colours

Or

c) convert the file to sRGB before saving for web
