Very strange–I went to the help menu in photoshop cs, but the program couldn’t get to the Net to show me the help listings. The URL had some wierd characters listed in it: <http://%1%20>" file:///C:/Program%20Files/Adobe/Photoshop%20CS/Help/help.ht ml" I took out all the wierd characters and got to the help page. Any ideas on how this happened and how to fix it.

The file://… is the correct URL.

I don’t know why it has <http://%1%20> in front of it.

What browser are you using?

It always does, on all three CS apps, as many have complained about in the forums since CS was released.

My solution is to simply never call up the helpfile from the menu; point your browser to C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS/Help/ and open help.html directly.

PS. This bug affects IE, IE with the Avant Browser shell and Mozilla, all under Win2K. I don’t think it’s a browser issue at all, but either an application or an OS problem.
