In an attempt to make a pattern that produced unoticeable tile lines, I made an image in psd 8.0. I then reworked the image so that if you took duplicates of this square image and set the edges tiled together on all four sides you would not be able to see tile lines.
However, when I took the square image -hit select all and then "defined pattern" it produced a pattern that showed horrible tile lines. Is there a specific way to accomplish this.? Is there a set pixel size/limitation default, when psd "captures" defines a pattern? help, greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Keith, have you tried the Filter>Pattern Maker to check it out? It might help.
