When I open a RAW file in the browser, a new window opens. This window is too big to allow me to see the whole picture without scrolling. Also, I cannot see the whole dialogue box on the right. I can move the window but about half of the dialogue box still is clipped off and cannot be seen at all.

I am running XP.

If I go and change monitor resolution to a higher setting 1024 x etc, I can see the whole picture and box, but I don’t want to do this as everything else works fine on the lesser resolution setting.

Please advise – thanks a lot, John

What version of Photoshop? I’m not sure about earlier versions but CS requires 1024 x 768.

Hi Bob, sorry I should have specified that.

I’m using CS.

When I go to 1024×768 everything looks fine, but I would prefer to use the next lowest (I think 800×600?) on CS and other apps. So, you are saying I need to use 1024×768, even though rest of CS looks and runs fine on the 800×600?

Thanks

Thanks

Yes, that’s exactly what I’m saying. Here’s a link to the system requirements:
