I search for this and what I got was if I use right click and choose
open with, select CS2 it should open my .pspimage files, right?
It doesn't, I get this error:
Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of
document.
It is just a normal .psp file.

Is there anywhere in CS2 where I can choose or change which files I
want CS2 to open?

You can open these files with my free plugin:
http://www.telegraphics.com.au/sw/#pspformat

Thank you, does it keep the layers in tack and functionable?
Or does it only work on one layer .psp images?

Photoshop's plugin interface only allows reading one layer at a time.
Also, the plugin only reads raster layers.
