How can I create a soft edge that fades into white on a photograph? I have both photoshop 6 and photo elements. I’d like something similar to the top left picture located at www.myjaysonwilliams.com

Thanks

you can rub it away with the rubber, the is a transparancy level slider for the rubber, I would set it to 50%, or you can make a selection and feather it, the later would be easier to match the link your provided.

I was a little confused there. When he said "Rubber tool" I started looking around. Closest I could find was the oval path tool, although the sponge tool looked like a variation.

What they really need for that website is a plugin to add jailcell bars across the image…

No. It comes in L, XL, and XXL.

Fortunately, ‘Rubber’ has a different meaning in British English to your interpretation……….

But it IS time the Topic either returned to su(b)(t)tle edges……..or moved to the Lounge

Mortally. But I kind of assumed that you are from the colonies, whereas Len and I are from the same shores [regardless of my hijacking the American idiom]. 🙂
