Is there any way to change the color of the cursors(tools)? I have trouble seing them on certain colored backgrounds.

No, there isn’t.

But you might try using an adjustment layer to change the apparent color of the layer you want to edit.

you have 2 choices… grey or gray. 🙂

actually what i do is quickly hold down the crtl key to get the black (move) arrow up to see where i’m at, or the space key to white hand (scroll) icon. either way it’s a poor workaround, but we’ve been told it’s due to ms’s mouse handling algorithm (xor over gray still == gray)
