Make PS 7 my default

When I had PS 5.5, and I downloaded my camera card into my system, when I clicked on the picture it would always go to PS 5.5. Now that I have PS 7, it says it can’t find Photoshop, unless I right click and manually bring it up. What do I do to make my new PS the default program to open pictures in?

easiest way to do multiple file types is to reinstall 7. select custom install. that’ll bring up a big list of formats you want to associate with 7.

Hi Dave,
I did what you suggested but its all greek to me. So I reinstalled PS7 and clicked on "default" hoping that would solve the problem. It didn’t. If I did it custom, which items would I click on for PS?
Would I do something with my printer, which is where I insert my camera card?

as i said above select custom, you’ll get a list of file types you want to associate with it. it has nothing to do with your camera or your printer.
