Magnetic Lasso In CS is unusable?

Hi folks,

Is this some kind of bug? Sometimes it takes 5 clicks, sometimes 45 before the image and the whole PS window goes blank (white) and only the lasso tool is visible. I can go on dragging it around the screen but there’s nothing to drag it around except white space.
Wondering if anyone has the same problem. Thanks.

Im guessing here, but that happens to me sometimes in general use when I have been using the computer all day and open CS I get a blank screen due to the computer being over worked.

Have you got enough memory?

Neither of you mentioned which version of Windoze you’re using, but that used to happen to me frequently using PS7 and Win98SE with 512MB of memory. The solution was indeed to reboot. Since switching to XP and 1GB of memory I can’t remember it happening at all, but if it has it is certainly infrequent.
