Firstly, John Solitude thanks for the original post about actions, it helped me to understand how they work. My only problem is that I need to convert a lot (about 3,000 pics) & constrain them to a size of 100 x 100. The problem is some of the pics are long & thin, some are square shapes etc.. I don’t see how I can constrain them on both sides at once. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Ari

Create an action using File > Automate > Fit Image and set Width and Height to 100. Fit Image will make sure that the largest dimension is reduced to 100 pixels but it will keep it proportional.

I forgot something. If you need it to be 100×100 you can add Canvas Size to the action after the Fit Image.
