I have a few audio files in mpeg4 format (original from CD, copied onto the itunes library).
When I create a slide show in Elements 4.0, I want to add Media (audio file from folder). But I think Elements can read .mp3, .wav or .wma format.

1. How do I convert a mpeg4 file into 1 of a format readable by Elements
4.0??

2. I have also noticed that when playing an audio CD, itunes seems to play a better sound quality than windows media player? Is that generally true?

Thanks,

w.

It might be. There are multiple ways of getting the audio from your CD drive to your speakers. There may be an analogue audio cable joining your soundcard and CD drive (Quality poor), a digital audio cable (Quality fine) or the software may read the data directly from the CD, then output it to the soundcard (Quality fine). In some applications, you can choose the method used.
