In using the Replace Color function in PS Elements 2.0, I have trouble selecting the precise replacement color I want using the slider values for HSB (HSL).
I tried using the color swatches to select my desired color, noting the values for HSB, and entering those values in the HSB boxes of the Replace Color dialogue window. However, the numbering system differs in the two functions. The numbering system in Replace Color goes from +/-180, +/-100, +/-100 whereas the values in the color swatches dialogue boxes go from 0-255. This would make sense for the Add/Subtract functions, but not for the Replace function.
What is the correspondence between the two modes?
