Hi,

What is the best way to reduce or remove red eyes in a picture in Adobe Photshop? Anyone experience?

– Turn on Quickmask mode (hit Q)
– Use your brush to roughly paint over the red area in your eye(s) – Turn off Quickmask mode (hit Q again), You have a selection now. Invert it so it’s focus is on the "eye-red".
– Go to Image / Adjustments / HueSaturation and lower the saturation (usually completely) of the "Reds", chosen from the "Edit" droplist. Click OK.
– Go to Image / Adjustments / BrightnesContrast. You probably need to increase contrast a bit to compensate for lowering the saturation. – If the eye should have had some color (other than red), again go to Image / Adjustments / HueSaturation, check Colorize and adjust your sliders.

There are some steps you could do slightly different or find alterntive methods for, but this should roughly do the trick.
