Setting the preference to automatically enlarge a window when an image is zoomed in works only for the CTL+ but not for View/Actual Pixels. When this command is used, it is necessary to manually resize the window to show the entire image and avoid scroll bars. Surely, this was an oversight and was NOT meant to work this way.

Is "resize to fit" checked? And also check "Ignore Palettes".

"Zoom Resizes Windows" is selected in Preferences/General. Rob, I don’t know what you mean by "Ignore Palettes".

Select the zoom tool and you’ll see.

THAT did it, my friend. Thank you. I had to reset the zoom tool first to activate the two grayed options "Fit to Window" and "Ignore Palette".
