I’m about to install a new CS on my computer, but the hard drive has been sounding a little funny lately. I’ve backed up the important data, but was interested in installing CS not because I want to play with it. I also read that you can install the version on tow of your machines if you are not using them at the same time. My question is, if I install CS, and then replace the drive with a new on and do a fresh install of all my software, with CS know that it is the same machine that it was installed on before, (Processor Id maybe?), or will it think it’s the second install on a new machine? I hope this makes sense to you, I would just like to be able to install CS on my lap top for when I travel, and my desk top for when i’m home. Thanks, Joe
