I’m looking for an action which puts the Sony 828 Burst mode images into layers.
If you know the link I would be grateful if you would post it Many thanks

I found another solution. Put the images into a folder on their own. I assume they have names like a0001.jpg, a0002.jpg, ….., i.e. names with increasing integers in them. If you have Photoshop you probably have ImageReady. Ever use I.R. before? It’s extremely useful for dealing with burst mode sequences. In I.R. go to ‘File’, ‘Import’, ‘Folder As Frames’. This will bring in the images in as animation frames with each image on a separate layer. You can now save the file as a .psd which can be read into Photoshop. It will come into PS with the images on separate layers. I do quite a bit of this. Though, usually I don’t bother to bring the images into PS. I can do want I want to do in I.R. If I want to get fancy with special effects, I’ll bring the images into PS.

Good luck.

MacBook Pro 16” Mockups 🔥

– 12 scenes

– 48 MacBook Pro 16″ mockups

– 6000 x 4500 px

Hello Crash….many thanks for replying with a much better alternative solution…I have never used Image Ready before so you have opend the door to a new program for me.
I want to use Burst mode to capture action shots and then string them together on one page for printing…this will do the job just fine and I will investigate other possibilties with Image Ready.
Thanks again for your help
Best Regards
Suzie
