This may be of interest to the Adobe people among us.
I alluded in a previous posting to Photoshop’s preferences being corrupted or deleted in a random way when under Windows XP Pro. It is a tedious phenomenon, involving copying a backed up copy of "C:\Documents and Settings\John Joslin\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop\8.0\Adobe Photoshop CS Settings" over the re-created version.
I have now found out that it only seems to occur when I shut Windows down with Photoshop still running. I hasten to add that this is not normal practice for me but occasionally, exhausted after a long night’s work, I might just do it.
On the news I am just listening to a reported case of pig rustling here in Norfolk!
Cheers – John
