After thinking about it for years, I’ve come
to the conclusion that one of my biggest
personality quirks is wanting to valuable
to other people… like the guy you wouldn’t
want to have fall overboard from the life
raft on the way to a deserted island. But
the guy who tries to appear valuable can
be a pain in the ass and might get drown
anyway.

: -)

Was that a value judgment ?

It wasn’t a single value, just the non-conscious
desire to be valuable in a desperate sort of way.
Why don’t you join alt.philosophy? : -)
