Ik heb een tiff bestand uit mijn fototoestel gehaald en kan het niet openen. Fuji finepix 2.3 Mpixel.
Normaal heb ik niet de allerhoogste resolutie en dan krijg ik jpg-tjes en die kun je met elk programma openen.

Photoshop 5.0 schijnt tiff files te kunnen openen, maar die geeft aan: "dit tiff bestand heeft een niet-ondersteunde kleurruimte"

Try to open it with the software that came with your camera. Or try to open it with Irfanview

Thanks Stephan ! Yes IRFANVIEW opens the thing.
I guess I can print etc with it, and save as… jpg

Hi,

Please post your question in English next time, not everybody understands Dutch 😉

It could be possible that Photoshop 5 does not support that color space yet, but I can’t imagine that the camera is outputting a weird color space… Perhaps you could upgrade to a newer version of Photoshop or use another (new) tool for the conversion of the TIFF to e.g. PNG (lossless format).

Please note that resolution is not the same as JPEG versus TIFF. TIFF is a lossless format and is huge compared to JPEG (quality versus space/speed).
