I’m having trouble typing on a path in Photoshop CS. When I have a curved line for my path and place my text insertion point along that line, the text will only print twice the distance that my insertion point is from the closest end of the path. For example, if my path is 3 inches long and I insert my type dead center, it will be able to use almost the entire length. If however, I insert my text about 1 inch from the start of the line, I can only use 2 inches of the path for the type. Using a closed path (a circle for example) works fine and I can use the entire circle for the type. Anyone else have a similar experience? Thanks in advance.

maybe your default paragraph alignment is wrong? have u got the text tool defaulted to centre align, rather than left align? Just a thought, i might be wrong.
