In a photo I have there is an object I would like to remove from the picture and place it with a different background, how in the world do I do that? Also, once I place that picture with the other background, how do I make the picture a little transparent? Photoshop 7.
Thanks

Yes, that’s right. You use Photoshop, and version 7 is fine.

Carefully select the object. You may want to change the feathering setting to make the edges of the selection less sharp, 2-4 pixels is usually good. Then open the photo of the different background and drag the selected object from the first photo to the second photo. The selected object will become a layer in the background photo. Use transform to size or rotate it as needed. Then go to the layers palette and adjust the transparency of the object to suit.
