select marquee won’t snap to guides!!

select marque won’t snap to guides, even though I have "snap to guides" turned on.. I can’t work like that… it’s driving me nuts… pls help.. (PS CS..) thank you..

You have to be aware that marquee selections are pixel based and can only exist/move in increments of one pixel or more. Guides can be anywhere. Maybe that is the source of your problem.
