When recording an action, many of the pieces of information it records are inexact (for example, it recorded one of my colors as Red: 203.996, Green: 229.996, Blue: 255) or there is a very small part I want to modify later (for example, there may be something I created accidentally using the wrong font, and it would be much less effort to just go back and change the font rather than delete and re-record the step). Is there a way to do this? Thanks.

Find the step in the action palette, open an image and then double click the step in Photoshop. This should let you change the settings for that step.

Just click the little check box adjacent to the action step for which you wish to input (modify) the parameters. The action will pause and present the dialog for inputting parameters.
