Hi!
I have a question about adobe illustrator. Sorry for posting here in a photoshop newsgroup, but I did not find one for Illustrator and thought, maybe someone here is familiar with Illustrator as well.
If you know a better place where to post my question, please tell me so.
This question concerns Adobe Illustrator 10.0.3 on MacOS X 10.3.4.
We have several Macs in our company and the problem only happens on one of them. These are the steps that are performed:
with the rectangle tool make a rectangle
with the line segment tool draw a line that crosses the rectangle twice (once the top line of the rectangle and once the bottom line), so that the line is longer then the rectangle is high
now choose Object –> Path –> Devide Objects Below result: the application crashes
This functions normally on various Macs, only on one the crash occurs. Also it doesn’t matter if the Illustrator is started from applications or from the network (I put a version on a network drive, to see if there is a difference). So I think, that maybe it is the problem of the user and his settings.
Do you know which prefs/settings Illustrator saves and where?
If you have any advice on how to solve this problem please help me.
Thanks, Ann
