Hello everyone,

I have a picture of a text in a fortress somewhere in the Netherlands. It’s obviously something German and probably authentic because the room have been locked for at least 50 years (since 1954, maybe this part of the buidling earlier).

I am looking for the enhanced picture of this original in which the text is readable. I hope someone can help me.

can you please mail me when you are interested in doing some puzzlework wqithout getting a penny out of it?

I can’t work out which bit to remove, not that I’m planning to reply or anything.
It appears to be advising us to remove spamfilter text, which would leave nothing before the @.

I think the "TEXT" is what stays () . . . I think that’s why it’s in all caps. And "text" would also refer to the fact that he’s looking for the text to be deciphered.

Too, if necessary, his post gives "" – not
that it’s a real addy.

Had the same problem so I used your hotmail addy. Needless to say I did not check hotmail yet, I kind-a-hate that;)

But the solution is to use spaces before and after the @, and before and after the . (dot) The largest problem is scammers are using usenet to harvest their email addresses to send their stuff. And that is happening automatically so the spaces will prevent most of the harvesting. Just tell people to remove the spaces. Or just say (my email): peterhuis(at)planet(dot)nl
