This is my first time in this newsgroup. I am not sure if I am asking in questions in the correct group. If not, please point me to the correct one:

I have just upgraded from PhotoShop 5.5 to CS2.

(1) In PS 5.5, I could select the text (lasso-select the text’s border) by holding down the CTRL key and click the text layer.

What is the new way to do it in CS2? The same method is no longer working.

(2) Also, how do I render a text layer (making it non-text). I could not find "Render Layer" in CS2

Thanks

(1) Click on the Thumbnail preview in the palette instead of the layer.

(2) In CS it’s Layer>Rasterize>Type or Right-click in the palette to get it from context menu. Same in CS2?
