Is there more useful programs than Illustrator to use when making collages?
What do you meen with collages? Some kind of photo collage?? Illustrator is for vector graphic use. Use Photoshop, if it is a photo collage.
If you mean a montage (a bunch of pictures blended into each other) then use PS not Illustrator.Doc/Miss007,
If you mean a collage (a bunch of pictures arranged together) then Illustrator works great, though if necessary it can also be done in PS without too much more difficulty.

Wow, aren’t you the smart arse? When AutoFX open a branch in NZ, I’ll phone their support line. Meantime I don’t feel inclined to make a toll call at peak hours to answer a question that I can easily have answered here.
