I am creating a video file from still images. I am looking for a transistion effect which simulates a video zoom. Starting with a 2048 x 1536 pixel image I want to crop it in 60 steps down to 720 x 480. The output would be the 60 cropped images.

Using a spreadsheet I calculated the 60 crop sizes and manually did the work. (I then joined each image for a 2 second video demonstrating the zoom). A tool which does the same would be faster and more accurate and would allow for more or less crops steps as needed.

Does anyone know of such a tool/plugin?

Tony.

I’ve done that many times with PS (CS) actions. See Help Automate.

Have you looked at the Ken Burns Effect in iMovie?
