When I try to reduce the opacity or my photo (a bitmap), or, if I try to hide it by clicking on the layers’ little leftmost box, I get a gray-and-white checkerboard background instead of a plain white backgound. I can’t seem to make it go away. I want the background to be solid white, so I can see my other layers. What to do? Help. littleberry
