/side note: it’s a lot more fun when some company I’m using decides they need more revenue and sells customer data to spammers of various sorts. I got to utterly terrorize a middle manager at a bank after being stonewalled by the lower-downs. Ah, memories.

If it’s a company that has violated their ‘privacy policy’, I just charge them $5 each spam with the threat of small claims court.
