With the understanding that I’m a complete amateur at PS: I’d mask the trailing edges of the wings and the area behind them and then use FILTER | BLUR | MOTION BLUR and choose an appropriate angle and distance. Probably need to smooth the results afterwards.

DUH DOING!!!!!BOING!!!

plane on layer un lock layer dupe layer
blur button layer using MOTION BLUR (you had the ruby slippers all the time) move bottom layer with MOVE tool

Hi again.

Maybe I did not use the correct wording …
The blur must have a specific direction, ie from left to right or something like that. The motion blur from PhotoShop only does a blur without a specific direction; it is as if you take a picture with slow shutter speed of a car passing you.

The blur must have a specific direction, ie from left to right or something like that. The motion blur from PhotoShop only does a blur without a specific direction; it is as if you take a picture with slow shutter speed of a car passing you.

Photoshop’s motion blur has a direction parameter. You turn the wheel thingy in the dialog using the mouse.

You must be looking at the wrong thing.

Motion blur does allow a specific direction (angle). Take the filter and look. It also has a distance adjustment.
