Making a photo drop-in template!

If anyone could help…

I am trying to create a photo template in which I can drop in photos, move them around on the template, feather the edges, add effects and have different shape drop-ins?

I know this is a long process, but if you could just get me started.

I think if you where a bit more specific when descibing what you want, it would be easier for us to help you. As it stands, we can get you started, but there’s no guarantee you would get where you want to go…
