I have asked this before and forgotten the answer, how do I get ride of the small numeral thing in the top left corner of my images.

Secondly, I have a small line border surrounding my images which shows fine on the monitor but disappears when I print the image . I would like to retain it when I print images ….any help appreciated ……mjh —

1) View > Extras deselect this option

2) You can do this 2 ways: Select All, and stroke with a border of how ever many pixels you want. Edit > Stroke.
In the Print with Preview dialog, select border.

Is that the border that photoshop puts round all images? Try –
Select all (CTRL + A)
Select > Modify > Border set to 2 pixels
Paint around the edges of the image
Deselect (CTRL + D)
