Hi there

I’m wanting to create a collage in CS2 comprising of pictures that I have taken and was wondering how I would resize a layer. At the moment I’m dragging the pictures on the workspace which is creating a layer but then I’m doing CTRL+T to resize. If I do it that way for all the pictures then it’s going to take an eternity.

Does anyone have any tips to speed this process up?

Many thanks

I do it this way
Put all your photos into the same folder – open ImageReady and use File>Import >Folder as frames.

Then from the Animation window (using the triangle in the top right hand corner) flatten the frames into layers and export it to Photoshop.

CS2 lets you select several layers (using your mouse and Shift and/or CTRL) at the same time so they can all be resized together.

link the layers together and they will all transform at once or make an action to resize , then copy the file into the new one at the proper size
or make your initial canvas size proportional to the files and then use image size on all

Hi there,

I have a couple of scripts that resize layers, either by percent or to a specific longside pixel length. If you want to have a copy, let me know and I’ll email them to you.

Hope this helps.
