I just downloaded a trial version of photoshop cs and when I go to open a photo, there is a pink layer overtop of the actual photo. It doesn’t matter what I try to open up, it all comes up with pink. I didn’t select this god-awful colour ever and I don’t know how to reset it so my photos come up "as is".

Does anyone know what is going on here????

Btw, as you can probably tell, I’m a newbie 🙁

TIA,
Dale T.

Seems like you’re in Mask mode…. hit Q and see if the pink goes away

Cheers…

I think the best way if not in mask mode is to go into your display proporties and then click on the settings tab and from there click on advanced in the lower right hand corner and then a window should pop open and then select color management. from there select add and then select the adobeRGB1998 and that should fix the issue. if your not in quick mask mode
